BrickCon 2007 ~ Seattle WA
by: |QKO| FluidG Oct 9, 2007
I attended this year's Brickcon 07 - and let me say it didn't disappoint. I finally went head-to-head, toe-to-toe with the great Keith Goldman (pic below). After we entered ninjistic-combat in the crowd of lego revellers, Keith fell in battle... then sucker-punched me in the groin. After that was over, I reviewed his huge diorama, the "Omicron Weekend". It was apparent that KeithLUG was in full swing. Keith granted me with the following:
- A lifetime membership in the Las Vegas chapter of KeithLUG.
- A soundtrack CD with 20 songs celebrating the "Omicron Weekend".
- A KeithLUG symbolic lego monkey with red hook which had a weird odour.
- A KeithLUG t-shirt; which sadly was given away very early Saturday morning at the base of the space needle to a buxom young woman who's primary employment is staffing the local McDonald's Drive-thru window. After all... Keith does love the smell of processed breakfast meat on his women.
- And... he gave my son a minifig directly from his diorama to which was ultra-coolio ;-)

Getting troops around in such tight combat settings required a vehicle that could move quick, have extreme armor and pack a punch. The Whirlwind Artillery Tank and Troop Transport was created for such purposes.
